Stuart Murdoch

Sessional Lecturer Victoria University

Welcome, hi I'm Stuart Murdoch, I made this page/site for a variety of reasons.

About me

I use the internet and a blog as a teaching tool at Victoria University. A longer and more personal page exists about me on my personal site

I gained my Undergraduate Degree in 1991 at P.I.T., now R.M.I.T. My Post Grad in Secondary Education from Melbourne University in 1995, and My Master of Arts in 2002, from R.M.I.T

I work 4 days a week at pic photographic imaging college, teaching photography, in both traditional mediums and digital. I also teach extra curricular classes in Photoshop and digital photography.

My creative digital output resides primarily on flickr, as a sketckbook of ideas and experiences, with a small gallery of "resolved" bodies of work on my personal website. Several of my publications have been archived by the National Library of Australia ,altfotonet.org, [a peer reviewed photo gallery and publication],Lo-fi Vol 1 & "buy buy buy" in their pandora project, as well as my mo-phone blog and my blog. I have work in several private collections around Australia. I contributed to the State Library of Victoria Publication, "Essential But Unplanned the Story of Melbourne's Lanes" by Weston Bates 1994 ISBN 0 7306 3598 8. I also have work published in two publications by pic photographic imaging college, "eight" and "Two Points in Time". I have some work published on metroblossom.com, my account on claimid.com has a comprehensive listing of my online presence.

I exhibit my photographic art work in galleries when time and money permit.
